From artwork preparation and precision plate making to security printing, functional coating, adhesive lamination, quality inspection and final slitting, each stage is managed for stable tamper-evident performance and consistent converting quality.
Editable artwork, hidden-message details, dimensions and colors are checked before production.
To maintain reliable print quality and production efficiency, customers are strongly encouraged to provide editable vector artwork. Vector files allow dimensions, hidden security text, colors, line details and printing elements to be checked and adjusted accurately before production begins.
Our artwork team reviews the original design, confirms production dimensions, checks the required VOID or custom hidden message and prepares the file for the selected printing and converting method. Where necessary, the artwork is optimized to ensure a smooth transition from the initial draft to the finished security material.
Custom VOID wording, logos, lines and patterns are converted into a precision engraving structure.
During plate making, the required VOID message, custom wording, lines, dots and security patterns are converted into a precision printing structure. Electronic engraving or laser engraving can be selected according to the required image definition, pattern complexity and production specification.
Accurate gravure-cylinder preparation directly affects the definition and consistency of the final tamper-evident pattern. Controlled engraving helps reproduce fine details and allows the hidden message to transfer uniformly across the full production width.
PET surface energy is prepared before precise VOID-message printing and registration control.
PET film naturally has relatively low surface energy. Before printing, the film surface may receive corona treatment or a suitable top coating to improve wettability, ink adhesion and printing stability.
After surface preparation, the engraved printing cylinder transfers the required VOID message, OPENED wording, logo or customized security design onto the face stock. Registration, ink transfer, pattern consistency and web tension are monitored throughout the production process.
The functional release layer controls full-transfer, partial-transfer or non-transfer behavior.
A controlled security layer is applied to the printed face stock. This functional layer is an important part of the tamper-evident structure because it determines how the hidden message separates and becomes visible when the material is removed.
The coating structure is adjusted according to whether the project requires full-transfer, partial-transfer or non-transfer performance. Coating uniformity, drying conditions, layer compatibility and reveal consistency must be controlled across the complete roll.
Film color, metallic appearance and surface finish are matched to brand and application requirements.
The face-stock appearance can be customized according to brand identity, product packaging and security requirements. Customers may provide a Pantone color reference, while material and color recommendations can also be made according to the final application surface.
Metallic, aluminum-coated, transparent, matte, glossy and other visual effects can be combined with the tamper-evident structure. Before removal, the material can maintain a clean branded appearance. After unauthorized removal, the hidden message or separation evidence becomes visible.
Functional top coatings are selected for the customer’s printing equipment, ink and durability needs.
Functional surface coating is used to improve the printability and downstream processing performance of PET security film. Different printing systems use different ink, toner, curing and anchorage mechanisms, so the coating should be selected according to the customer’s actual printing equipment.
The coated PET material can be developed for flexographic, offset, screen, thermal-transfer or UV digital printing. Specialized coating requirements for inkjet and dry-toner systems can also be evaluated according to the ink chemistry, printer model and required durability.
Adhesive and release liner are matched to substrate, bonding strength and converting requirements.
A pressure-sensitive adhesive system is selected according to the application surface, environmental conditions, required bonding strength and removal behavior. Different substrates may require different adhesive characteristics to achieve stable application.
The adhesive is coated under controlled conditions, dried and laminated with an appropriate release liner. The liner protects the adhesive during storage, printing, die-cutting, transportation and handling while allowing clean release during final use.
Printing, coating, peel behavior, VOID reveal effect and roll quality are checked before approval.
Inline and offline inspections are used to monitor printing registration, color consistency, coating appearance, ink adhesion and the final VOID reveal effect. Material appearance and functional performance should remain stable throughout the roll.
PET materials can be affected by static charge, curling, coating variation and winding conditions. Scratch resistance, peel behavior, roll edges, liner condition and visible defects are therefore checked before the material is approved for shipment.
Master rolls are converted to the required width, length, core, winding direction and packing format.
Precision slitting and rewinding convert the master roll into the required finished dimensions. Roll width, roll length, core size, winding direction, tension and packaging method can be prepared according to the customer’s printing and converting equipment.
Clean slitting edges and stable winding help reduce processing interruptions during printing, coating, die-cutting and labeling. Both small customized orders and larger production quantities can be prepared according to the confirmed order specification.
Every material structure should be evaluated according to the application surface, expected tamper evidence, converting method and delivery specification before shipment.
Verify whether the hidden message appears clearly and whether the selected full, partial or non-transfer effect performs as expected.
Evaluate the bonding and removal behavior according to the selected adhesive system and the actual application surface.
Test compatibility with cartons, plastics, coated surfaces, glass, metal and other customer-specified substrates.
Review material stability under the intended storage, transportation and application environment.
Inspect coating uniformity, printing appearance, roll edges, winding quality, liner condition and visible defects.
Confirm roll width, roll length, core size, sheet format, packaging method and other agreed order requirements.
VOID label materials can be configured according to the application surface, residue requirements, printing method and required level of tamper evidence. The correct structure should be selected according to the actual product and security risk.

Full-transfer material leaves most or all of the hidden message and adhesive residue on the application surface after removal. It is generally selected when strong and highly visible tamper evidence is required.
Partial-transfer material divides the security message between the label film and the application surface. It provides visible evidence while maintaining a more balanced appearance.
Non-transfer material reveals the hidden message mainly on the label film without leaving visible residue on the selected application surface. It is commonly used for premium packaging, electronics, camera lenses and sensitive surfaces.
Yes. Standard hidden messages such as VOID, OPENED and STOP can be supplied, while customized logos, brand names, warning text, symbols and repeated security patterns can also be developed.
